Rocky Top

The Tide SW Foundation has ties to Eastern Washington. When we discovered Cowiche Canyon Conservancy and the work they are doing, we knew we wanted to partner with them.

Our first project with CCC was to purchase 40 acres of privately-owned land at Rocky Top. The property is part of a network of trails spanning from the east end of Cowiche Canyon to Snow Mountain Ranch. One trail running through the property provides a critical link between protected public lands.

The land holds old growth sagebrush, wildflower blooms in the spring, rare plant species and offers views of Mount Adams and the surrounding foothills.

By securing this property, existing trails and habitat will be protected and future development will be prevented. Most importantly, it permanently ensures the public’s access to the trails at Rocky Top.
